The Organ Mountains are a rugged mountain range next to Las Cruces. On both sides you'll find wonderfull recreation areas and hiking trails (Aguire Springs, Dripping Springs/Soledad Canyon/Baylor Canyon) with small waterfalls.

An other nice hiking area in Las Cruces is the Picacho Peak.
